Washington Research Associates Inc. was founded 11 years ago by Joseph Ryan, who started the company in downtown Washington DC as an economic/financial research firm. Several years ago, Washington Research Associates narrowed its focus, and now specializes in investigative research, with emphasis on background checks, people search, and asset investigations. Its clientele consists primarily of law firms, small to medium-sized business firms, and individuals. The company now has over 50 associates throughout the U.S. and internationally.
Joseph holds a Master's in economics from Ohio State University and has had over ten years experience as a senior economist and statistician with the federal government, as a college teacher, and as a consultant to industry.
